Information on the processing of personal data (GDPR)

Pursuant to Article 13 (1) and (2) of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), please be informed that:

1. Your personal data are collected and processed by the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek solely for the purpose of providing the service in accordance with individual contracts (“data minimization” – personal data are processed that are necessary to achieve the purpose of data processing).

Due to the fact that you are bound by a civil law contract with the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek, your personal data are processed for the purpose of providing interpretation and translation services, including ordinary and certified translations, as well as for keeping the relevant repertory and accounting pursuant to Article 6 (12) (c) of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, including in particular for:

a) the performance of the contract concluded with the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR);

b) ensuring the safety of the workplace in pursuit of our legitimate interest (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR);

c) carrying out activities consisting in monitoring the web traffic of co-workers of the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek in pursuit of our legitimate interest (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR);

d) documenting the concluded contract and its settlement, based on the provisions of tax, accounting law (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR);

e) internal administrative purposes of the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek, including statistics and internal reporting of the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek, in pursuit of our legitimate interest (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR);

f) archival (evidence) purposes in pursuit of our legitimate interest in securing information in case of a legal need to prove facts (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR);

g) the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims in pursuit of our legitimate interest (legal basis under Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).

2. Your data are NOT processed in any other way, in particular for marketing purposes and are not and will not be made available to other economic operators;

3. Upon termination of the contract (i.e. expiry of the purpose and legal basis for data processing), you have the right to “be forgotten”, which is equivalent to deleting your data from our database systems;

4. The controller of your personal data is the Translation Office www. WIESIOLEK.EU Wojciech P. Wiesiołek, with its registered office at Al. Niepodległości 227/233, lok. 85, 02-087 Warsaw;

5. The data protection officer at the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu is Mr. Wojciech P. Wiesiołek, e-mail: wojciech@wiesiolek.eu;

6. The recipient of your personal data may be companies cooperating in the field of translation and translation verification, translation proofreading, IT services, a company providing HR and payroll services;

7. We may process data processed on the basis of consent until you withdraw your consent in this regard or we determine that it has become obsolete. Data processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the data controller may be processed until the legitimate interests of the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek which constitute the basis for this processing are fulfilled or until you object to such processing. Data processed in the remaining scope may be processed for a period of up to 5 years upon the end of the legal relationship between you and the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek.

8. You have the right of access to the content of your data and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;

9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016;

10. Provision of your personal data is a condition for the conclusion of a translation contract. You are obliged to provide it and the consequence of failing to provide personal data will be a refusal to perform the translation.

11. Withdrawal of consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us in writing at the address of the registered office of the Translation Office www.WIESIOLEK.eu Wojciech P. Wiesiołek: Al. Niepodległości 227/233, lok. 85, 02-087 Warsaw NIP 1131411023, without stating a reason, as well as without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal. If you exercise this right, we will stop processing your data for the purpose covered by your previously given consent.
